Floyd S. Evanson

Floyd S. Evanson of Duluth, Minn. enlisted in the Army on Aug. 19, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and rifleman with Battery C of the 4464th Anti-Aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalion in Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Evanson was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Dec. 8, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
