Filmer J. Jarve of Embarrass, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on April 13, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver with the 1907th Service Command Unit in Central Burma, India-Burma and China.
Mr. Jarve received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars and American Campaign Medal.
He was honorably discharged on September 20, 1945 at Fort Lewis, Wash.
