Faye Elton Johnston enlisted in the Naval Reserve on May 11, 1942. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

Served as a Mailman 1st Class aboard the USS LST 48, USS Coasters Harbor and in the continental U.S.

Honorably discharged from service on February 11, 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
