Eugene J. Grady of Hibbing, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on October 27, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Technician 4th Grade and clerk typist with the 735th Railway Operating Battalion in Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Grady was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged May 11, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
