Eugene H. Kolehmainen

Eugene H. Kolehmainen was inducted into the Army on September 19, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Corporal in the Coast Artillery, and a gunner with Battery D, 771st Anti-Aircraft Gun Battalion in the Western Pacific.

Mr. Kolehmainen received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged Novenber 21, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
