Eugene G. Luoma of Florenton, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 28, 1942.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and a portable power generator operator with Battery A in the 399th Field Artillery Battalion in Central Europe and the Aleutians.
Mr. Luoma received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on November 16, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
