Eugene A. Berg
Mr. Berg joined U.S. Army in June 1942.
He was commissioned as a second lieutenant serving as a training instructor in Alabama and Mississippi before deploying with CML Corps to Okinawa in August 1945. He was discharged from army in February 1946.
He graduated from in 1937 as valedictorian of the senior class as Sandstone, MN, High School. He received his degree from Carleton College in Northfield, MN.
Mr. Berg was born on January 19, 1920 in Litchfield, MN.
He was born to Arthur and Alice (Best) Berg.
Mr. Berg died on July 24, 2007 at Viewcrest Health Center.
