Ernest R. Bodin

Mr. Bodin inducted into the Army on April 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with Headquarters Company of the 2831 Engineer Service Command Battalion in Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Italy; Southern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Arrowhead, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Bodin was honorably discharged on October 29, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
