Ernest J. Foster was inducted into the Army on March 22, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class and a rifleman with Company B of the 134th Infantry Regt. in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Foster was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Nov. 12, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
