Ernest H. Keil was inducted into the Army on July 15, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

Mr. Keil received the: Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany) and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on June 1, 1946 at Camp Beale, Calif.
