Ernest Glavich of Kinney, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on May 28, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn     .

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and wrecker operator with the 135th Ordnance Medium Maintenance Company in Central Europe.

Mr. Glavich was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged February 1, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
