Ernest A. Decobellis

Military Branch: Army

Ernest A. Decobellis entered the Army January 13, 1942. Home at Entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal with the 19th Engineer Combat Battalion in Sicily and Italy.

He was killed in action in Cassino, Italy, on April 29, 1944.

Special Note:
Ernest and Fred Decobellis were brothers. Within the same week, their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Decobellis of Chisholm, were informed of both their sons deaths.
