Eric E. Rajala

Eric E. Rajala of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Nov. 23, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a laundry machine operator with the 430th Quartermaster Laundry Detachment in the Pacific Theater, New Guinea and Southern Philippines.

Mr. Rajala received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with 2 bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and 2 overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Oct. 24, 1945.
