He was an Aviation Electrician's Mate 1st Class serving in the continental United States and in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Johnson received the Good Conduct Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on December 13, 1945.
