Elmer E. Gilliam

Elmer E. Gilliam enlisted in the Regular Navy on September 9, 1936.

He served as a Quartermaster Chief on permanent Shore Patrol in the continental United States and Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mr. Gilliam was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 5, 1948 at San Francisco, Calif.
