Eli Markas

Eli Markas was inducted into the Army Air Corps on December 10, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Kinney, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron of the 29th Air Depot Group.

Mr. Markas was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 14, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
