Elayne A. Penny Peterson (nee Wilander)

Elayne A. Penny Peterson (nee Wilander) enlisted in the Marine Corps Women's Reserve, on February, 18, 1943. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

She served as Technical Sergeant, property supply clerk, and supervisor in aviation supply with the Aviation Women's Reserve Squadron Six in the continental U.S..

 She supervised female Marines setting up the assembly and repair departments, and creating inventory control, receipts, and expenditures.

Ms.Peterson was honorably discharged on September 28, 1945, at Headquarters Air Base Group Two, Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, California.
