Eino W. Niskala of Angora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on November 10, 1942.
He was a Private First Class and a mortar gunner in Company H of the 13th Infantry Regiment in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Niskala received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.
He was discharged on September 29, 1945.
