Eino A. Hovila entered the Army August 23, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

He served as a Private with Company B of the 26th Engineer Training Battalion in the continental United States.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged November 16, 1945, For Leonard Wood, Missouri,
