KAUTTO, Eino Elmer
Eino Elmer Kautto was born on August 1st 1925 to Emil & Olga Maria [Kautto] in Wawina, Minnesota.
Mr. Kautto entered the U.S. Naval Reserve on November 16th 1943.
He served as a aboard the USS R11 and the submarine USS Capitaine (SS 336). He rose to the rank of Seaman 1st Class (S1/c).
Seaman Kautto was honorably discharged on January 21st 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
After the war he returned home and married Vera Augusta [Pagliaccetti] in 1947 and they started a family.
Mr. Kautto died on May 19th 1979 at 53 years of age. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Chisholm.
