Eino E. Lakanen

Eino E. Lakanen of Embarrass was inducted into the Army on September 11, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 3rd Grade  and a surgical technician with the Medical Detachment of the 410th Engineer Construction Battalion in the continental United States.

Mr. Lakanen received the: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on December 2, 1945 at Fort Belvior, VA.
