Edwin H. Lindman of Embarrass, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 16, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and an ammunition bearer-heavy machine gun with Company H in the 35th Infantry Regiment in the Northern Solomons and Southern Philippines (Liberation).

He received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star.

He was honorably discharged on December 4, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
