Edwin E. Engman of Iron, Minn. was inducted into the Army in July 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Corporal and mortar gunner with Cannon Company of the 151st Infantry Regt. in New Guinea, Southern Philippines and Luzon.
Mr. Engman was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and Philippine Liberation Medal.
He was honorably discharged on Nov. 12, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
