Edward Peter Janezich

Edward Peter Janezich was inducted into the Army Air Corps March 20, 1943, Fort Snelling. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and airplane sheet metal worker with the 17th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron with Air Combat in New Guinea and Southern Philippines.

Mr. Janezich was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star and two overseas service bars,

He was honorably discharged January 24, 1946, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
