Edward M. Snyder enlisted in Sept 1942, and had basic at Camp Crowder .

He left Fort Monmouth in Oct 1944 for Buna, New Guinea on the Lurline from California. He served in Buna and Hollandia New Guinea with the 4025th Sig Ser Grp. He also served in the Philippines and Okinawa.

He left Okinawa aboard the Admiral Benson to California and was discharged at Indiantown Gap on Jan 29, 1946.
