TARR, Earle Emerson
Earle Emerson Tarr was born on August 22nd 1915 to Lester Willis & Besse M. [Brown] Tarr in Boston, Miassachussetts.
He was inducted into the Army on May 13th 1942.
Mr. Tarr served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company 'C' of the 95th CML Mortar Battalion in Central Europe.
PFC Tarr was awarded the following:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star.
Mr. Tarr was honorably discharged October 24th 1945, at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. After the war he emigrated to Minnesota, married Pauline Teresa [Koebensky] and started a family.
He died on December 14th 1995 of natural causes at 80 years of age in Virginia, Minnesota.
