Tesch, Earl Carl
Earl Carl Tesch was born on February 28th 1925 to Henry John & Grace [Hornstein] Tesch in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His family moved to Duluth.
Mr. Tesch was inducted into the United States Navy on July 3rd 1944. Home at entry: Proctor, Minnesota. He rose to the rank of Seaman 2nd Class (S2C)
S2C Tesch served during WWII onboard the USS Kasaan Bay (CVE-69) and the USS Attu (CVE-102). He served in the Navy until 1947.
He was honorable discharged and returned home to Minnesota where he married Luella Marie Schliesmanon May 5th 1949 and started a family.
Mr Terch died December 22nd 2006 in Milbank, South Dakota at 81 years of age. He is buried in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Milbank. Military honors were presented by the American Legion, Birch-Miller Post #9 and the VFW Grant County Post #3486.
