Dorothy Aileen Whiteside [nee Stenbeck] was born on May 15th 1928 to Wayne 'Vienar' A. & Hilda Marie [Makela] Stenbeck in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Ms. Stenbeck served with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, as part of the United States Army during WWII. She rose to the rank of Second Lieutenant (2LT).
LT Whiteside was honorably discharged after the war. She returned home and married John Albert Whiteside on March 29th 1947 and they started a family.
Ms. Whiteside died on April 19th 1994 at 65 years of age in Cook, Monnesota. She is buried at the Cook Cemetery.
