SORENSON, Donald Wesley
Donald Wesley Sorenson was born on November 6th 1921, the son of Louis C. & Helga Gudrun [Johansdatter] Sorenson, in Duluth, Minnesota. His step-father was Martin Haglund.
Mr. Sorenson served in World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.
He rose to the rank of Sergeant (SGT). After the war SGT Sorenson was honorably discharged and he returned home and married Mildred "Milly" Ellen [Hunter] on October 23rd 1965 and they raised a family.
Mr. Sorenson died at age 86 in Hibbing, Minnesota, on September 22nd 2008. He is buried at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Hibbing.
