Donald M. Fraser of Duluth, Minnesota enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard on Sept. 15, 1932.
He was activated on Feb. 10, 1941 and served as a Staff Sergeant with Service Battery of the 125th Field Artillery of the 34th Infantry Division in Salerno and Cassino, Italy; and Africa.
Mr. Fraser was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on March 29, 1945 at Percy Jones Army General Hospital, Camp Custer, Mich..
