McNALLY, Donald Edward

Donald Edward McNally was born on July 29th 1918, the son of Edward Thomas & Edna Stella [Whiting] McNally in Chokio, Minnesota. He would eventually settle in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. McNally served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II and was a Radio Instructor at Robins Field in Mississippi.

His rank on March 5th 1944, was Technical Sergeant (TSGT).

After the war SGT McNally returned home and married Dorothy Lee [Vining] on April 23rd 1944 and they started a family.

Mr. McNally died on January 15th 1990 at the age of 71 years. He is buried at Resthaven Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahona.

“Radar instructor at Robbins [sic] Field, Ga.[sic], is T-Sgt. Donald McNally, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed T. McNally, 1316 One Hundred and Second avenue west, who was home recently on furlough. His brother, Pfc. Francis McNally, field artillery driver, is in England.”
