Donald C. Pratt of Virginia, Minnesota enlisted in the Army on Dec. 14, 1941.
He was a Private First Class and a pack driver with Company C, 411th Infantry Regiment at Rome-Arno in Italy, southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe. He also served in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Pratt received the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with Bronze Arrowhead, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Sept. 29, 1945.
