Donald C. Larson of Hermantown, Minnesota was enlisted in the Army Air Corps on June 11, 1940.
He was a Master Sergeant, a flight chief and an airplane engine mechanic in Japan and the Eastern Mandates in the Pacific.
Mr. Larson received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.
He was honorably discharged on December 2, 1945 at Fort Sam Houston, Tex.
He also served during the Korean Conflict in the USAF Reserve from 1950 to 1951.
