Mr. Andrews inducted into the Army on August 18, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and powerman with the 318 First Signal Service Battalion in Hawaii and Okinawa.
He received the following: Meritorious Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, and two overseas service bars.
Mr. Andrews was honorably discharged at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
