David R. Lustig

David R. Lustig was inducted into the Army on July 20 ,1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Cook, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Service Battery of the 37th Field Artillery Battalion in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Lustig was awarded the: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars ,World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and one overseas service bar.

He was honorably discharged July 3, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wis.
