Daniel Milan Prazich entered the Regular Army on November 14, 1938, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
He served as a Master Sergeant and communications chief in the continental U.S.
He attended Officer Candidate School in 1943, and was commissioned Second Lieutenant. He was promoted to First Lieutenant and then to Captain.
He served as a a tank unit commander with the armored cavalry in Central Europe,
Mr. Prazich was relieved from active duty on July 22, 1947, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
