Curtis W. Marks of Mountain Iron, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on Sept.16, 1943.
He was a Private First Class with Company B, 808th Engineer Aviation Battalion in New Guinea and the Philippines.
Mr. Marks received the: Meritorious Unit Commendation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.
He was discharged Jan. 15, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
