Cora Rae Hawkinson (nee Beatty)

Cora Rae Hawkinson (nee Beatty) enlisted in U.S. Navy WAVES on October 14, 1944 and entered into active duty service on December 1, 1944.

She took her basic training at Hunter College, in New York City after which she transferred to the Georgia State College for Women, Milledgeville, GA for training at their Storekeeper's School.

She served the remainder of her military service as a Payroll Clerk at the Navy Branch Office, Cleveland, OH attaining the rank of Storekeeper 3rd Class, being discharged on May 22, 1946.
