Conrad A. Holstrom of Virginia, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on July 24, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver with Headquarters and Service Company of the Allied Force in Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno, Italy.
Mr. Holstrom was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal.
He received a disability discharge April 26, 1946,at Moore General Hospital, Swannanoa, N.C.
