Clinton J. Roy of Duluth, Minnesota enlisted in the Minnesota Army National Guard on Oct. 1, 1940 and began Federal service on Feb. 10, 1941.
He was a Technician 4th Grade and telephone and telegraph lineman with the Headquarters Battery, 125th Field Artillery Battalion, 34th Infantry Division in Tunisia, North Africa; Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, and Po Valley, Italy.
Mr. Roy received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with 4 bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and 5 Overseas Service Bars.
He was discharged on May 29, 1945.
