Clifford J. Richards of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on Sept. 10, 1942.
He was a Private First Class in aircraft maintenance in the United States. He was injured in an aircraft accident while in training in Presque Isle, Me.
He spent the remainder of his service in hospitals in Boston, Galesburg, Ill., and Denver.
He was given a disablity discharge on Dec. 8, 1945.
