Clayton Grigg

Clayton Grigg of Virginia, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on September 18, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class and ground aircraft observer with Company C of the 266th Engineer Combat Battalion in Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno, Italy; Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Grigg was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged Nov. 17, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
