Clarence Gustav Mell was born on August 29th 1908 to Gustav Walfred & Axeline Sophie [Johnson] Mell in Alborn, Minnesota.
Before the war he married Anne Martha [Isomaki] on January 1st 1942 and they started a family.
Mr. Mell entered the U.S. Army on July 8th 1942 during WWII. He would up being admitted to Army hospital in New Orleans for a couple months. He rose to the rank of Corporal (CPL).
CPL Mell was separated from service on August 5th 1943.
Mr. Mell died on January 11th 1978 in Virginia, Minnesota at the age of 69 years. He is buried at Gilbert Cemetery in Gilbert, Minnesota.
