Charles W. Lehto

Charles W. Lehto of Cook, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on August 16, 1942.

He was a Technician 4th Grade and an auto mechanic with Battery A in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion in the Southern Philippines (Liberation) and Luzon.

Mr. Lehto received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 18, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
