Charles A. Skaudis, Sr.

Charles A. Skaudis, Sr.was inducted into the Army on October 9, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Brittmount, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade and tractor mechanic with Headquarters Company of the 1398th Engineers in Saipan, Pacific Theater.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on May 31, 1945, at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
