Charles A. Lutkevich

Charles A. Lutkevich, Sr. was inducted into the Army Air Corps on October 15, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and airplane and engine mechanic with the 1346th Army Air Forces Base Unit of the Air Transport Command in Central Burma and India-Burma.

Mr. Lutkevich was awarded the: Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged November 16, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
