Charles J. Saari

Charles J. Saari entered the Army Air Corps on September 16, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Zim, Minnesota

He served as a Private First Class with the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron with the 45th Air Depot Group in the European Theater.

Mr. Saari was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Feburary 1, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
