Charles F. Pavlich enlisted in the Navy on Aug. 21, 1942.
He was commissioned as a Lieutenant and served as a navigator on PBY patrol and cargo aircraft with VP-12, Vp-92, VR-11, serving on Guadalcanal, Bougainville and the Admiralty Islands.
Mr. Pavlich received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal, American Campaign Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was released to inactive duty on June 22, 1946.
