Charles E. Porter

Charles E. Porter of Chisholm, Minnesota enlisted in the Navy on Oct. 12, 1944.

He was a Seaman 1st Class and a sonar operator aboard the USS Harry E. Hubbard (DD 748) in the Pacific Theater.

He graduated from the West Coast Sound School in San Diego and played in a stage band.

He was discharged on July 10, 1946.
