Charles D. Ericson He served during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater.

He served in the 341 Fighter Squadron of the 348 Fighter Group of the 5th Air Force. His rank was 2nd Lieutenant.

He was born February 13, 1919, in Superior, Wisconsin the son of Victor and Edith Ericson. Graduated Superior East High School in 1936.

Lost at sea on January 9, 1945, in the Leyete Gulf, Philippines. 

Mr. Ericson was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with bronze battle star, Presidential Unit Citation, Air Medal, and Purple Heart.
